I actually like that. It's a bit arty farty but if you'd left the flowers sharp it would have been pretty boring. Good job :)

Small suggestion might be to crop a couple of the bright highlights off the bottom but not a biggie :)
 
I like it too. I'd go even a little more minimalist than Dod... and trim off the left highlights as well as the bottom ones.

That would leave just red and green, and would be a very abstract treatment indeed.

Great idea. I would never have thought of this.
