How do you get your blog noticed, i've added tags to photos but it's a bit dead end looking when you finally set your page up there seems to be no point of direction to take it to.
I'm not one to write paragraphs of stuff on each shot and why etc, just something a little different from flickr.

As with all social media you need to make sure you are automatically cross-posting to other sites, like Facebook, Twitter and your own web site if you have one. Also, make sure you use expressions that people are likely to be searching for, so-called Long Tails, rather than simply aiming to make your blog posting keyword rich.

My flickr auto posts to my facebook page so i doubt i will link tumblr to it aswell, oh well i'll just have to think of something when i got time, cheers.

I found that for a long time my blog attracted hardly any traffic at all and then all of a sudden I was getting hits from all over the place. I'm sure that this was partly from the fact that once you monetise a Blogger.com blog Google is incentivised to sell the references out as content to other media vehicles. I've just moved out of Blogger and into Wordpress. Partly to improve the social media integration but also to get away from Google a bit. The amount of money the Blog was making out of Adsense didn't make it worth persisting with the Google product.
