Tumblr

Hi! I started a (failed) 365 on there. I notice it's mainly full of crazy kids, who's pages
I just don't understand. It can be used as a straightforward blog though. But I think there are more elegant blog sites out there. I found it hard to organise anything, just seems like a stream of posts...

Here was mine: http://www.mat365.tumblr.com

The iPhone app is good.

mostly full of emo kids tbh, but some good photo blogs. But still mostly emo kids.

TBH I think that's the whole point. I like the randomness and the simple way it flows. I use it as a place to post pics I like, I'm not sure about and general PS experiments: state.tumblr.com

This one documents stuff me and Lou get up to: louandstu.tumblr.com

When I was looking around for blog sites I liked Tumblr as it can be as clean and simple as you want it to be.

Just trying to follow you but it won't let me on the phone so will have to have a go on pc later :)

It is simple social bookmarking for bloggers. Its great way to get blog traffic and dofollow links.

I tried with Tumblr but as others have said, didn't really 'get' it.
Use Blogger now. Much better IMO.
As far as I could see, Tumblr diesn't allow commenting on posts which was the main thing I disliked about it. I prefer to be able to have a bit of discussion with my readers.

I'm giving blogger a go :)

Instead of creating a new thread, I figured I should ask here..

I have noticed today that one of my photos has been blogged by someone through flickr. I asked him to either remove it, or replace it the one with watermark on it... which surprisingly he has done... but, the same picture was reblogged by many other people... should I be worried? or is it just a harmless photoblogging site?
