What a beautiful and informative shot you have there, Andy.

I've never seen any bird here with that plumage ... can you put a name to it?
 
Thanks guys. Got 2 or 3 other good shots of this little fella, he was very obliging and didn't seem to mind me getting quite close.

Lovely colours in this shot and interesting details too. I reckon that from a distance it woud be hard to spot this chap, he looks camoflagued in those suroundings. Well spoted and taken (y)
 
Never seen or heard of a turnstone............*goes for a google*..........Coastal wading bird then, I like the habitat you have got the bird in and the subject itself is very well taken as well.....(y)

Thanks Trev and you are correct they almost disappear at times.
