Turnstones and a couple of Herring gulls.

I've been trying to get a few decent pics of these little chaps for ages now and today I finally got a couple. They are a nightmare to get close to. This snap was taken from about thirty feet away. Nothing spectacular I know but I was over the moon with finally getting a pic.

Thought I would throw this in seeing as it's a nice capture. Pity it wasn't a bit sharper.

Nice shots, the trick with Turnstones is to get some waterproof clothing and lye on the ground. They soon become conformable and you will be able to get close by just waiting or crawling towards them.
