Yes
I have a job in Tuscany at the start of June and managed to get them to pay for a few days car hire and accommodation after the event.

I've never been to Italy before - does anyone have any recommendations for the area ? I'll be staying in Viareggio which is about 30 minutes from Pisa.

Cheers,
Duncan

Train from Pisa to Florence is a good trip and Florence is superb!! Also close to Florence is a small town called Fiesole - well worth a visit!

My favourite place in Tuscany, and in fact Italy as a whole is Sienna. It's smaller than Florence, a LOT less touristy and has a beautiful cathedral and square. Twice a year they also have a horse race around the square called the palio. The square itself slopes a little so you could get some interesting shots perhaps.

Other than that, I'd be tempted to head up into the hills for some early morning strolls / photos!

Lucca, very nice old town/village

And obviously the seafront, especially in the northern part, it's very impressive.
