Two Damselflies

I spotted this male green bodied Blue Tail damselfly and managed to get three shots of it of which this was the best one.

Camera: Nikon D90
Exposure: 0.004 sec (1/250)
Aperture: f/13.0
Focal Length: 90 mm
Lens: Tamron 90mm macro
ISO Speed: 200

Then a male Common Blue came along and chased it away. The Common Blue was quite a bit bigger than the Blue Tail, and it was clearly dominant. To make amends he posed nicely for me. He was a rather splendid specimen, bright sky blue.
If you look at the large size on flickr (click on pic) you can see the wing of a victim caught just in front of its wings.

Camera: Nikon D90
Exposure: 0.003 sec (1/320)

Top view showing the distinctive "ace of spades" mark on the first body segment behind the wings.
