No
made these today and thought they might be of interest to some !

I recently bought the Nikon 80-200/2.8 lens and being quite heavy it never seemed very well balanced on a tripod so I put this simple tripod collar thingy together - cost was about ten pounds.

a 90mm telescope ring was used as the main support, then piece of steel bar, steel angle to support other end of lens and thats about it.

Seems very solid and well balanced on a tripod now.

Second one was a simple clamp for my nikon sb800 flash - used the loc-line tubing reinforced with some thick cable, simple clamp and a couple of tripod threads - seems to work fine:

Ingenious, think I might have a try at the flash clamp myself before your patent is approved :)
