Two New lenses

I just got my self 2 new lenses. Well there really front mounted converts but at 99p I could not help my self :bonk:

I have only just had a quick play with them but this is a shot from each one.

I was expecting them to be useless but actually thought they came out ok Most interestingly though they did not effect the f-stop at all unlike regular teleconverters Any one used anything like this before?

couldnt you do some before and after shots eg. before tele converter added and after tele converter added.

I don't really know what I'm doing but I will give it a try. These were taken with a Nikon D40 set on auto with kit 18-55mm lens. The first one is at 55mm and the second is with the Olympus 1.45x teleconverter and then zooned out to about ~38mm to give over all the same zoom. I have had to use a step up converter ring as well as the TC is a 62mm thread and the lens is only 52mm.

Same camera and lens but this time the top one is at 18mm with no converter and the bottom is at 18mm again but with the wide converter added.

Lol, ya at 99p each I thought they were worth a play. I just found them for sale online and for just one lens had a RRP of £343.00

lol i dont think there that much otherwise you would have sold them by now, you might have been looking at actual DSLR lenses
