This is messing around with rear curtain mixed with very slow exposure allowing the ambient to swish about too.

The first is messing with my head, looks like fire from the back of your hands

Second is great, reflection in your glasses is just right. Angle of the light is nice.

It does look like fire, doesn't it?!

The second took a few (a dozen) attempts to get it right. Wearing glasses is a PITA.

A little trick you can try is to just pull the arms up a bit to change the angle.
