As it was a beautiful day on Sunday, i couldn't resist a trip out to the Zoo. Here are a few pictures I took from Twycross Zoo, it felt lovely to get some use out of my Sigma 300mm again as i have neglected to use it as of late!

Nice pictures, I went on Monday but didn't even take my camera as I'd been photographing all weekend and wanted a break with the family. They had a baby elephant, very cute, did you get any shots of it?

I didn't take any pictures of the baby but he was adorable and so tiny compared to his mum :love:. He was taking a nap near his mother when i arrived, in fact all the elephants were sunning themselves and having a snooze. :LOL:

I do plan to go again at some point though and will hopefully get some pictures when hes awake :)
