It was the Nikon 80-400vr that i had on loan from Lenses For Hire: http://www.lensesforhire.co.uk/nikon-af-80-400mm-f45-56-d-ed-vr-46-p.asp As for settings i'll have to check the originals EXIF data but i had it on the fastest shutter speed the light would allow and bracketed about +0.7
