UDMA 300x CF cards. problems

Has any one had any issues with regards to putting them into a usb ebay special reader?

I can plug the camera form usb direct to pc and works fine. but when i try my epson 340 stylus printers reader and a cheap ebay reader at work it has some real trouble reading it. would this be normal with these fast cards?

its a lexar pro 4gb cf.

my cheap usb reader is fine on 4gb cards but wont read my 16gb one. veho card reader will work.........something to do with SD vs SDHC?

ah right, just a pain really, good for the camera though. lol some thing i will have to cope with.
