A moth landed on my floor a short while ago so I decided to get a photo of it (was a white insect similar to a daddy long legs), used the 70-200 for a few shots then got my 17-50 and stuck that on. Error 99...
Swapped it back with the 70-200 and nothing wrong, 17-50 on and Error 99. Each time I put it on the camera it makes a noise (a bit like trying to focus for a split second) even when the camera is off and it's changed to MF.
I'm guessing this is definately a problem with the lens?
It was bought used only lat week, the seller getting it from a shop and it's still in warranty there. Thing is their website says the warranty is only for the person that purchased from them. How strict are they about it does anyone know? Will I have to contact the seller and see if he can help?
