Ullswater, Brotherswater, Lake District

The first is the better of the two, but it's been shot so often you really need great conditions to stand out. Some early morning light and mist would help, but I do think the composition is better if you turn the camera to the left, even though that's the well-known classic view. The black and white conversion has been done very well. The second picture is too wide and there's little sense of depth. Maybe if conditions are right the tree on the left could be used more effectively and be framed closer to the pointy hill, difficult to say if it would work unless there is decent light.
 
Number ones a cracker, awesome in black and white.
