hi all havent been on here for a while. I am thinking of doing dog portraits at shows, and wondering what would be the best lens for this job Cheers Rick

You've already got the 70-200 f/2.8L. I'd have thought that would be pretty good. In what way do you feel it's lacking?

The EXIF says that photo was taken at 100 ISO. Why not just up it to 400, say? I'd have thought your 5D would cope with that pretty well.

Alternatively, since the EXIF says that photo was taken at 200mm, would you like to test-drive a 200mm f/1.8L?

(Well, I had to ask! ;))

the 135L is an amazing lens. it'd get my vote of a FF sensor.

cheers guys, I did think after I posted about upping the iso , I supose it is just going to be a case of trail and error for now lots of pics with different settings till I fined whats best.

Personally, Id be a wee bit nervous if a dog like that was taking such an interest in MY nuts...
