Ultra wide angle on a budget

Are there any options for £200 or under? Or is your only choice a panny 7-14 or an Olympus 9-18?

Basicly I have a birthday next month and I'd like an ultra wide as its the only thing i miss from my canon!

I have a 14-45 a 14mm and a 45-200... If that helps any?

Didn't know they did one for mft? Who supplies them?
 
Bear in mind that the Samyang is a fisheye rather than a rectilinear lens like the 9-18 and 7-14. The results are completely different so it isn't really an alternative but a different type of lens.

You can defish the results in post-processing, but the results won't be as good as a rectilinear lens!

Have you considered a wide-angle adaptor? Panasonic make one designed to fit the 14mm & 14-42 that turns it into an 11mm. Costs about £100.

I got my 9-18 second hand for just under £300 so if you can save a bit more you could get a proper UWA lens.

This is very true :)
 
I used to use my dads 8.5mm fisheye on my canon and found it fun but a bit of a novelty... Used to enjoy the 12-24 much more! And loved the 10-20

What's the wide adapter for the 14mm called? Could be worth some research!

And Is the oly lens any good on a panasonic though as I know Panasonic have a lot of in body trickery when a Panasonic lens is attached...

One thing you could think about is using a wide angle adapter on an existing lens. I had a 0.45x that seemed ok. Here it is on my GF1...
