Ultra Wide Angle tips?

anyone got any ultra wide angle tips?

they are fantastic fun lens to use but difficult to get great photos.

so far, i've gathered:
-wide angle are not "get everything in"
-Foreground is more important
-but do get everything in focus by stepping down (f8 for 6 feet to infinity)
-use strange angles

any other tips for UWA composition?

(ultra wide angle as in <14mm on crop, <20mm on full frame)

I tend to use lenses to fit the purpose and not to fulfil a set of rules. Be creative with the lens, not prohibitive....

UWA's....IMVHO are all about using that extreme DOF and not getting more in the frame.
