Currently at a friends wedding and I am doing their photos.

I've had to contend with 2 uncle bob types with their dslr's, a bloke who is taking up photography as "it's easy to make money" and a bloke with a tiny little video camera who head no idea how to use it.

The venue is pretty small, but only 25 guests so it should have been an easy job.

It's not been.

Expanding on what Iris said, you could always buy them a few drinks

I feel your pain. To a far lesser degree, turned up for a portrait job today and the whole ****ing street were there, took photos of all the kids and then they wanted pics of the dogs.....all for a flat fee.

Get them some drinks, then introduce them to the throw-your-camera-up-in-the-air-on-a two-second-delay technique.
