underage models

better words could maybe have been used but the main thing is at least everyone knew what the question referred to so there was no confusion, sometimes plain "common" talk is the simplest and easiest method of communication.

No, but used in the context of referring to a possibly underaged girl, again, phrasing could have been a bit more refined and less, for lack of a better word, common. It sounds degrading... Perhaps it's a woman thing...

By underage you mean 15 and below I take it?

I presumed he means under age for the purpose of sexually explicit modelling. So, under 18.

I know the op ment 18 but is it really in appropriate to use bush for someone that is 16 or over (boy or girl). It's not a sexual word, just maybe a bit crass in describing some hair.

I hear peoples precious little kids using MUCH worse language. Some people are just to sensitive. Sticks & Stones.

The language i hear from them is an education to me and I'm broad minded to say the least.

something is what it is regardless of how you dress it up with words.

Really, someone said bush?....... How shocking, I'm totally disgusted

Going back to xHamster now before I get any more offended....

Oh for gods sake... Obviously with the amount of testosterone running through this thread, I'm going leave you guys to carry on thumping your chests. I've said what I wanted, I don't feel the need to justify it further. Mind you don't bruise yourselves too much... ;)

And apologies to the OP...

For the record, bush offends me.

I'm with you love. I'll only listen to the BBC World Service when they complete their move out of Bush House.

I am no pro but I am a parent, and if my under age girl was in that situation, I would be there all the time and be very vocal if I thought any pose was inapropriate (but her parents let her smoke) I assume she is actually 16-17

I agree with london headshots, You didn't book her, so surly cannot be held resposible.

Shoot was in the open with plenty of people about.

The parents signed the release AFTER the shoot, but still signed it. So after what they saw, they still thought it was ok.

I don't think you have anything to worry about
There were other togs there, what are there thoughts?

Bush is straight to the point but crass. If you have a potentially serious situation then you need to know exactly how far over the line has been crossed.

oh stop beating each other up about the bush (or something like that):bonk:

How about some real advice for the poor guys quandary, he is obviously worried about it.

We've done the real advice. Now is the time for pointless arguments :D

Paragraph 2.

Doesn't matter if the parents were there or gave consent if the images are deemed sexual (I'm not saying yours are).

That is very worrying. Don't forget that some people will see what they want to see, not what is actually on display.

Let's just presume they are OK, but I am not willing to take the risk.

Without showing the pictures it's kinda difficult to know what the pictures are like with what the OP first wrote.

I can't show them if there is even a very slim chance of misinterpretation. THAT would land me in trouble for real.

Yep (although by definition it is under 18 in UK).

If parents allow her to smoke (which led me to think at the time she wasn't underage somehow) I am short of comments and imagination what else is going on there.

TBH I'd not worry about it

Blame the booker. The allowed to smoke means you'd naturally assume the girl was at least 16 as a minimum, as it is illegal under that age. I think the parents have a lot to answer for. They're clearly letting this kid grow up far too fast.

I genuinely don't understand how people that are so easily offended make through day to day life!

It's hard Dave... Terribly hard. Some days I barely make it out of bed. I still cant tie my shoes. If it weren't for a support group, copious amount of alcohol and meditation sessions singing Kumbya, I'd probably be living in a cave.

Oh please... :|

I agree with you on this. Shall I pass the responsibility to the booker for this shoot and all it's contents?

BTW the legal smoking age is 18 since 2010 or so.

Is it not that you have to be 18 to purchase but can smoke at 16 still?

Incorrect. That's what I assumed too. It is illegal for an under 18 to buy tobacco but someone over 18 can buy for them and let them smoke from 16 as far as I can tell!

But an age of 18 is a good assumption to make...

I think you should probably get legal advice on whether it is better to remove all images of that girl or better to hand them over to the booker in entirety and wash your hands of it and put it in writing that you have done so.

If what you've taken is the same as the image in your link then what are you worried about? It's a girl in a bikini at the beach, what's worong with that for ***** sake. If anyone has a problem with it it's their mind that wrong not the image, I've got loads similar of my kids from the age of 18 months with a bucket and spade to late teens with an arm around the boy friend while sunbathing.

There was an article that I read some years ago, about a photographer who was living with his sixteen year old girlfriend. He took some bikini shots of her, and he was arrested not for having sex with her, but for taking the photos  While she was old enough to have a relationship, she was not old enough to pose for photos !

Not sure if he was ever prosecuted.
