Underwater housing

Im starting to look about for an underwater housing for my D700 and 24-70 lens. Im only planning on using 2-3 times in total however im not looking to pay 1k to do it as its just little personal project for this year( cheaper the better. The camera only needs to go under the water a few inches for a few minutes at a time. Is there anything cheap out there that will keep my camera and lens safe but allow nice clear images to be taken.

I'd either Google it or speak to one of the main camera shops like Park Cameras or Wex for example. They'll probably point you in the right direction. My only concern is that with most things in life you get what you pay for and I'd speak to someone who knows rather than possibly end up with a leak

Yeah but im seeing tgem from about £700-£2700. Wouldnt pay anything like that for a little project i want to try but i certainly dont want water in my camera or lens.

Another idea i had was to put the camera and lens in a fish tank as i only want to be under water a few inches at most.
