Unexpected visitor

There I was, merrily doing the hoovering this afternoon, when I glanced out of the window of my flat. Lo and behold if this lovely creature wasn't sitting in the tree in the gardens of the flats. It sat there for a good half an hour or so whilst I took a few record shots out of the window, very obliging it was too. This is in the suburbs of Manchester! Just checked a minute ago and he/she is currently sat on the roof of the building - must like it round here!!

It seems to have taken up residence, it was on the roof all afternoon!

not happy taken ages to get a decent heron shot and still not got one :bang: and you get one just by looking out the window :annoyed:
