"Unknown source" - Flickr stats

This past week or so when I view my Flickr stats the majority of photos have been found via a site/s that flickr doesn't seem to have the details for. It just says Unknown Source.

This worries me slightly, as I like to keep a track of what is appearing where. Has anyone else had this recently? And do I have anyway of finding out where these views have come from?

Found this on the flickr help page:

"Unknown Source" is what we used to call "Direct Traffic".

To generate the stats flickr relies on your browser telling us what page you were on before you followed the link to the flickr photo. Most of the time this works fine, but sometimes:

. someone is clicking on a link in their email program or an instant message, where there is no referring "page" to link to
. some people set their computers up to deliberately hide this information
. sometimes someone directly enters the address into their browser, or uses a bookmark

In all these cases (and a few others), we don't actually know where someone came from, so we show "unknown source".

Hope this helps!"

Must admit, I seem to have a lot of these lately as well.

They've increased a lot since the stats page started giving 'live' information, rather than you having to wait until the next day to see what happened previously.
