So im cleaning the house and find an interesting spider, Large, with yellow black strips on its back. SO I thought I would catch it and take a picture.
I got it in a glass and then took it outside to drive and left it there while i grabbed my camera. My girlfriend watched it from a distance while I did.

I came back and lifted the glass and off it ran. I got a quick picture and then refocused. As I was looking\down the lens about to press the shutter I heard a flutter and a bird had swooped down less than a meter away from me and took off with the spider. All I saw was the spider disapear and as I looked up the bird flying off with his lunch.

I would post a pic of the spider just before but I dont have access to my main PC.

But how un lucky is that, the poor spider couldnt have been on the ground for more than 20 seconds. I just wish I had fired when I was going to instead of trying to get a better shot.

That's one of them rare wildlife in action moments that's gone forever & may never be shot again. That's gona be 'bugging' you for the rest of your life. (pun intended) It's bugging me now just thinking about that moment.

You're right it is bugging me, I just wish I would have fired, although all I would have gotten was a blurry mess as my lens wouldn't have been fast enough.

Is it wrong to want to find more spiders to replicate this?
Hope my girlfriend doesnt see that...:coat:

Not wrong at all :D . Although, it's beyond me why anyone would want to find spiders (EWWW!)
