Up to the footbridge

I'd have dialled it back a touch in exposure level, and maybe modified the colour or WB to give a more orangey look. It's a wee bit too yellowy for my taste.

Agree with the problem with the orangey look. Would look better IMO if:
1. It was b&w.
2. The exposure was pulled down a little.
3. The lamppost was showing.

I suggest you dont use manual but try a semi auto mode like apperture priority to start with when trying this out.
Your light trails on theroad are overexposed too IMO.
 
Agree with above :) non the less a good attempt here I recently made the mistake of shooting too early on the same sort of shot so mine needed the opposite in the critique lol :)
 
I think so yeah. Maybe you could increase the blacks to make the opening a little more mysterious as the fence is a tad distracting.
