Yes
I left the other thread, it was going nowhere. Although thanks to all that tried to help.
After speaking to the girl in person, and her parents, I have convinced her to stick with fashion based shoots for now, and some formal shots (evening dresses/heels, prom type stuff), and leave the glamour stuff until December.
Everyone's happy, and I won't be getting arrested :)

Good sensible call you made there. Plus, if the girl in question is thatkeen, December is not that far away now really either.

Glad it all worked out in the end and everyone happy,i hope it gives you even more respect and speaks volumes for your morality. Well done.

i was following that thread with much interest. good to see that everyone's happy in the end. have fun shooting!

Not sure about me being moral, but that's another story haha. I explained she's got the rest of her life to get her boobs out (although I was more polite), so a few months won't hurt. Plus she may find that modelling in clothes is more her thing, only one way to find out.
Only thing is, she's now desperate to do a shoot and I'm in the middle of an MS relapse. Sod's law methinks.

Were the parents surprised? I'm not sure many are aware of the laws surrounding this.

Definately made the right move - trouble avoided.

excellent negotiation skills....
jeez, how things have changed. I pitched a few times with the original thread...and it's been quite odd my arguing to keep the clothes of a young lady quite firmly on her person.

well done. surely the best result for all concerned

good luck with the MS too!! a friend of mine swears by nutritional therapy as an approach to mitigating MS...another thought it didn't work for her. all the best

Yes, the parents were surprised. I'm thinking it's a common view that if parents give permission, it's legal. I don't think they'd have given permission a year ago, but as her 18th is only 6 months away they decided to let her do it now.

Glad you got it sorted out safetly for all concerned. Hope your feeling brighter soon. Wayne

Sorry to hear about the MS relapse, get well soon.
As for your Morality im talking about your public face and word of mouth from clients;)

Aw gosh! I have a fair idea of what you're going through. Hope your feeling better soon.

I was surprsied at the 16 up to 18 age limit change (per previous thread) - and shocked. While I don't photograph models (clothed or otherwise), I could see how somebody could walk into that one.

However, sensible outcome.
