Upgrade from 300D? Or New Len's?

Ello all!

Basicly been shooting with my 300D for a while now and love it, collected a few len's which i love! But looking to upgrade i think! 300D is an awsome camera,but its slow as anything...

So my options are, i've got 400 quid. And it either buys me a new body or a 70-200 L f4...

What should i go for?

Len's i shoot atm-

28-90 4-5.6
50 1.8
28-135 -AMAZING LEN'S So underrated


I've been pretty happy with all the len's i've got. I mainly shoot random street stuff, and a few events :)

I would usually say to go for a lens, but in your case the 300D is getting a little old, high ISO is not so good and it is pretty slow.

Look at a 2nd hand 40D or 50D for around £400 but do try the 70-200 f4 on your 300D if you can and see if you are satisfied with the combination
 
The General Consensus, seems to be, get a new Body!

How much you reckon i can get for my 300D Body? I'll check around my local camera stores and see how much i could get for the body :)

Ebay it with the 28-90mm and you should see about £150.

I've been watching a few 40D's on ebay over the weekend and they have gone for less than £340 which is an absolute bargain for such a camera.

Nice! I think i might just go for a 20d though. Its comming up to christmas, so although i've got the 400 to spend! its going to be tight! But a 20d will still be a nice step up :)
 
I'd also suggest a new body. Have just gone from a 350d to 500d and noticed a great improvement
