Never was much on introductions.....so straight in at the deep end!!
The time has come to upgrade from my 450D to 60D?.....7D??.....break the bank but probably dreaming 5D mk11???
What would you all advise, I do a fair amount of general photography and a lot of cricket photography in the summer.
Am I better off trying to locate a decent 2nd hand 7D than considering a new 60D?
Am I better of by "biteing the bullet" and going the whole hog for a 5D?
I have humed and aghed[sic] over this for so long and read everything that is available. I will be buying body only as I am ok with my lens, at present, I am aware I will have to do away with one of my EF-S lens with the 5D.
I haven't yet had any of them yet in my hands, which may help make the decision.
I would appreciate any help in this matter [if you arn't allready fed up with people asking the same question].
As a matter of interest what would you people consider to be the best Canon shop within sensible driving distance of Peterborough?

You also have to take into consideration the advantages of the 60D over any of the other Canon dSLRs. That articulating monitor (shared only by the 600D, an entry-level camera) is second to none! I can see myself getting a lot of use out of that, capturing those tricky shots or being artistic with my photography / videography. Manually adjusting sound input will also be imperative to me, but again that's personal needs.
