Upgrading from the Fujifilm XF1 to the Fujifilm XQ1?

Whilst I like the retro look of the XF1, photo quality and don't mind the quirky on/off sequence, I have found when using the XF1 camera for video with moving subjects in low light conditions such as dancers inside a dimly lit hall, using "Continuous focus" (wide open at F1.8) the XF1 struggles to lock onto and stay locked with a subject and the resultant video is constantly out of focus...............

I tried using “Centre Focus” which was a little better, but still the camera struggled to focus consistently for video, and am guessing it is just a limitation of the camera in low light conditions?

I thought the XQ1 with the X-Trans sensor (and manual focus option) might improve live view and video AF performance ?

Has anyone done this upgrade and are there any other positives / negatives to consider?

ps Noticed the XQ1 has a different battery - the NP-48, but it "appears to look" the same dimensions as the NP-50 that fits the XF1, are they interchangeable / be charged using the same battery charger?
