Yes
I tried to upload a panoramic file of 1000x417 and it would not accept it. I reduced it slightly; to be under 1000, but it still won't have it. The rules say 1000x500 or smaller
any advice anyone?

PS less than 200kb

The gallery wont take images over 800 pixels.

We allow panoramic shots on the forum of that size, but not on the gallery :)

How do I put it straight into a post?

Mike

Open your pic at full size and right click on it - go to 'properties' which should give you the url- usually ends in .jpg

Highlight and copy the url then paste it into your post here with the
tags at either end -no spaces.

That's it. :)

Thanks, sorted it now. I did't know I had to host it somewhere else. :amstupid:

Me TOO !!
I am still having problems uploading pictures, despite Marcel trying to help the other day - 2 pictures, one is 799x284 and 82.3KB, the other is 790x526, and 85.1KB - I have tried and tried, and keep getting told that the images are too big !

What am I doing wrong ?
Can I email the images over to one of you staff members to post in my gallery, or at least see if I am doing something wrong?
Cheers
Steve
