Answered Uploading photos

Anytime I upload a photo from my pc, it shows up in my post as a small thumbnail to click on.

Other people manage to upload theirs as a full photo displayed properly in their posts.

Am I doing something wrong?

I'd like to be able to show the whole photo as other people do, but without linking out to flickr, etc.

Also, the last photo I uploaded I had to keep shrinking it down before it was accepted at 800x500(ish)

I looked for an uploading instruction sticky, but couldn't find one.

First off, when you up load an image you get 2 options..
thumbnail & full image, click the appropriate one.


Secondly if its an attachment, no larger than 1024px on the longest side
and less than 500Kb. or it'll fail to up load

Thanks, that was the sort of thing I was looking for.
Think I've got it sussed now.
Discovered by accident you can copy and paste into the reply box as well.
