uploading raw files

done my first studio shoot tonight and we shot in raw have tried to upload to my flickr site but when i try the computer cannot find them can someone help plz ??

You need to convert them to Jpeg after processing after editing software such as Photoshop, the RAW is the digital negative that you work on to produce it.

hi tom no i bought it second hand and did not have the disc

Irfanview with the plugins installed will convert to JPEG and allow you to adjust colour etc if you are on a PC.

If you are really stuck, for now you can download a free 30 day trail of photoshop or Lightroom until you find a more permanent solution

You can download the latest version of Nikon View NX2 for free here:

It is a little clunky to use, but it will use the camera settings as a starting point (which non Nikon raw converters are not able to do) and you can then tweak the raw more if you want before converting to jpeg or tiff for uploading to flickr.
