Upon reflection

I am no B&W expert so I may be talking rubbish here but the sky looks too dark for the foreground and the overall appearance of the shot is a bit "heavy" to me. You have got a superb sky and reflection to work with though.

It's kindof the inverse of what I'd expect - where the reflection is 1 or 2 stops less exposed than the sky...not sure it works for me because of that...

It's horrible. I used the sunset grad as a red (B&W)filter.

I guess the polarising filter darkened the portion of sky reflected in the water.

I have ordered a print today and I'll just have to wait and see if it works on paper:shrug:

I think I agree with Donna on this. Its really good, but I just feel in needs a slightly lighter touch.
