I like the Idea - the shadow echoing the shape of the lamp-stand.
To me the lamp upright needs to be properly vertical though - easily tweaked in pp. I think that the composition could have been marginally improved by getting the shadow of the lamp to meet the curve in alignment to the third rivet on the arc, rather than falling between the 2nd and 3rd, but maybe that's me just being picky. Also - crop the bottom of frame so that the shadow meets the pole right at the bottom of the frame - or better still the bottom of the shadow arc. meeting the pole at the bottom of frame.

Hi, thanks for that. I will try the straightening and also the crop. I hadn't even noticed the shadow falling between the rivets but can see what you mean. Not sure if I can get the shot again but will try. In the meantime I will make the adjustments you said and submit for my project. Once again thanks. I really appreciate the feedback. Tina
