Anyone got any ideas where I might be able to locate graffiti walls? I'm planning to do a couple of model shoots:- Modern Architecture and Urban Textures.

I've looked through www.28dayslater.co.uk - but would rather stick on the right side of the law - well at least not force it upon a model :lol:

I'm based in Leicester, so Midlands would be ideal!

Anyone else done something similar?

I was using the exact backdrops you require last Sunday from
LuxS Check out the Denny 2010 catalog on the site.
 
There are some amazing backdrops, Peter!

Not sure I could justify the cost of buying a selection though!

Where did you use these said backdrops?
 
In the Studio he has in Beaminster (address on the site plus images of the studio. He charges £85+vat for a whole day which includes the backdrops & his lights
 
theres some near me just north of nottingham

they're on my Flickr page , its actually under a disused railway bridge

a couple of local photographers have used it before

If your interested i'll PM you a link to another guys site who's done loads of shoots there

...and usually with some skaters etc to boot.

As always with locations, it's all about getting out and about and finding stuff.
I'm always looking for locations for different ideas, otherwise everything gets quite samey.
 
Our Council funds a lot of youth projects, including community art (ie legal graffiti), might be worth speaking to yours and see if they do the same- they'll know where the sites are
