useful clamps

Hope this is right place, just came across these in Tescos whilst I popped in for a few bits, they are quite small but very sturdy plastic and the spring is surprisingly strong, just thought they may be useful in the photography bits and bobs bag for lots of different things, they are £1 for 4 of them so really cheap and useful for lots of things

Be careful with those, I don't know if if was because they'd been in the garage over the winter but I was using them a few months ago when one snapped and flew threw the air narrowly missing my face.

"rolson quality tools" is a synonym for "cheap poor quality tools".
I've made the mistake of buying a few, examined many more in stores, and almost without exception, they're crap.

ive no intention of buying any of the tools as they didnt look up to much, just thought for a quid these might be useful, but best not use them now as they will probably kill me

I dunno I use my rolson screwdriver set for adjusting specs at work as all the other ones are either gubbed or missing.

Nice find, and good price! I have some similar to this, they come in really handy for positioning flashes.

I got similar ones from screwfix many moons ago - quite a selecton of them as well (8-10 iicr), largest one would prob hold my D700 to a pole if needed with a lens attached at that

What I've done is buy a car battery clamp (a metal one) and drilled a hole in the end and attached a bolt. It works perfectly, holds my 1d 15mm and pocketwizard
