Using an 1100D for quick video

Hi all,

I sometimes use my DSLR for doing quick walk arounds of cars and occasional random shoots but movie maker and quick time can't handle the 720p quality, my laptop has something called prism video converter installed on it, has anybody used it? I'm a bit wary of programs that just appear so any info is welcome

I've used Windows Live Movie Maker with 1080 video without any problems, you may want to try this http://www.serif.com/free-video-editing-software/ I've bought the MVP X5 and like it.

I'm going to get Sony Vegas at easter to replace movie maker as it has now decided to stop working at all now
