Using Canon Battery Grip BG-E2

With my Grip I had a battery tray BGM-E2 included so that its an emergency magazine to fit 6 x AA batteries in.

Can I for my life work out how to install this tray.

I've looked at the instruction leaflet until Im blue in the face, batteries are put in the holder and then the holder is turned over, so that the word Canon Battery Magazine are the correct way up.

When I come to try and push it into the Grip the white release levers either side keep fouling it.

Im wary about pushing it too hard incase it snaps one of the levers.

Help !!!!!

Ah mystery solved -- the box the grip came in was marked as BG-E2, whereas the grip for my Camera a 5D Mkii is infact a BG-E6.

The grip is actually an E6 correct grip but the magazine is for an E2 - now to try and source a proper magazine !!

That makes sense then as the proper battery grip should slip in easily...
