Using Canon lenses on Sony A7ii with Commlite adapter?

Like an idiot I posted this in entirely the wrong forum.... Hoping somebody has already done the research on this and can help me.


Not sure if I will keep my Sony A7ii but if I do I will be looking to add a telezoom in the 70 or 80 to 200 to 300 range and given the cost of Sony lenses I will be looking to get a used Canon lens to use with my Commlite adapter. My question is... What range of Canon lenses are full frame and suitable for use with a commlite adapter? EF?? EFS?? I would want to keep autofocus and AE.

EF are full frame lenses and EF-S are APS-C, you might want to keep that in mind.
