Using Ebay CM-N3-ACC pre-trigger cable

Hi
Has anyone used the Ebay CM-N3-ACC pre-trigger cable along with their PW Flextt5+Mini combo to remotely fire a 5Dii or a 40D? Any issues? reliability?

THe Oem CM-N3-ACC from PW costs 125 squids, which is 10 time dearer than the 1s from Ebay!!

I would appreciate any relevant info.
