using lightroom on laptops?

Does anyone use Lightroom on one of these new Asus eee pc type things, or does anyone have any idea if they're likely to be powerful enough?

I run it on an MSI wind (with 2gb of ram). I can do some keywording and sorting with it, but I would not really do large amounts of editing with it as it is not fast enough, and the screen is not acurate enough for it. Good for getting the catalogue ready so you can do final edits when you get home, but not fast or acurate enough for final edits.

I would think screen res would be another issue too. Even on my 1280x800 laptop screen things can get a bit tight. Fortunately I only use it for importing, slideshows and printing on site so it's not too much of a problem - maybe I'm too used to the higher res of my desktop though?

I only use a laptop (with Lightroom etc) currently a Dell Studio, although with this one I can add a second monitor if I wish but I rarely do unless I am showing someone else something while I am working

I hadn't thought of the screen. Size wouldn't be an issue but I suppose quality would.:|
