I have a few Yongnuo RF 602 triggers and receivers, which I use for triggering flashguns when out and about.
I decided to see if I could use another to fire my camera (a D700) remotely, whilst still using the one on the camera to trigger the flash.
So, I used one trigger on the camera hotshoe, with a receiver on the strobe unit to fire the flash. I then attached another receiver to the camera, via the PC socket, and had another trigger in my hand to fire the camera. They were set to different frequencies. A half press of the trigger in my hand focussed, and further press fired the camera, which fired the flash.
Success. I know it's not a big thing, but it gave me something to do on a dull monday morning !

Here's a sample to show it worked. Sorry about the subject matter, but I didn't have another model to hand ! :gag:
I needed a new avatar anyway.
Just shows the focus worked, this was lit by a single strobe into a softbox, not a good portrait, but it serves a purpose.
