Hello all, and a Happy New Year!
In December, I had a very last minute opportunity to fly out to the USS Dwight D Eisenhower (CVN 69), whilst the boat was operating in the eastern Mediterranean and conducting strikes in Iraq and Syria.
We spent 24 hours on the ship with an overnight stay, and got to watch a bunch of flight operations, as well as meet the crew, conduct interviews etc - all the normal stuff for a media embark.
