Has anyone had any experience of comparing the various properties of say Hoya Pro 1 Digital filters and the cheaper products often to be found on Ebay and coming from HK. I have read the tech spec on the Hoya site and can appreciate what they say, but how does that relate in practical, hands on experience. Has anyone actual experience of the reported affects such as ghosting or apparent light loss.
 
There is a site somewhere (linked to from a thread on here somewhere) where they did independent light testing of many top-name brands of filter
 
I have used pro 1 and cheapie multi coated filters from 7dayshop. Have not noticed any problems of flare or ghosting with the apparantly xlnt 7dayshop filters.
