A bit late I know but I am a busy man :LOL: would have done a few more but I got that dreaded full CF error :( I must empty the card.

Rob that was Dave's thread I think you have me mixed up, these are just running water without gadgetry just a camera lens and flash.

how do you get the image in the water then do you just put a source behind, something to refract into the water and shoot away?

Rob that is pretty much it not forgetting the the refraction will be upside down.
 
These are superb much sharper than I got when I tried it .. I must try harder :)

Make sure you use a dimmed room and the flash will freeze and make sharp the drops if you have the focus distance right, you are probably getting blur.
