I had a wander around today and snapped a few bugs, I didn't have a flash diffusor so some are a little hot in places. Any comments gratefully received.

No idea what this nasty looking thing is, any ID appreciated;

I found the bees a little easier than most other flying insects, they are a bit more methodical in their approach so you can wait for one to arrive more reliably than hovers etc. Also, take lots of shots, the 6 shown are the keepers from 45-50 shots I took.

Nice set steve, number 1 is a scorpion fly ;)

Beautiful photos and such a lovely colours... I hope one day I will be able to shot similar photos... My favourite is the last one... :D

Thanks Sam, I think it's a toad though. For some reason there was quite a few about around the edge of the pond.
 
Wow what a cool looking critter#1 is, the Damselfly is great, a nice set.
