Yes
just bought a Lowepro Nova Mini AW for my girlfriend for a tenner, really nice actually, very impressed, and since she'll be starting off with just camera and 18-55mm it's not too small.
I'm also looking for a bag, would really like a sling type bag something like the Lowepro Slingshot 100 AW but cheaper. I have an 18-55mm, 55-200mm and 35mm prime. If I can get the 18-55mm and the 35mm in the bag (as would be the case with the Nova mini) I'd be happy since the 55-200 will only be taken out on special trips and I already have the soft case for that.
Now...can this be done for a budget of around a tenner? :cuckoo:
I have up to £20 to spend but just wondering if anyone can point me to a bargain!

cheers :)
just got a schweet deal from ebay though, Tamrac Velocity 6 for £12 delivered :naughty:
this guy:

can fit a D70, an 18-70 and a 50mm in there with some accessories so I'm sure a D40, 18-55 and a 35mm will go in just peachy :)

WOW, that seem's like a really good deal, I was thinking of getting a velocity for street photography but I was lucky enough to find a discounted Sony shoulder bag in Argos for £5 so I never did get the velocity but they seem like excellent bags.

yea I'm pretty pleased :) its used but the guy had actual photos of the item and it looks mint so can't complain especially at that price

I have the slingshot 100 with a 550D with battery grip attached with a 70-300 lens with hood on (reveresed), a speedlite 380ex and in the top the kit 18-55

note pad and hip flask ;0)

hmmmmz bag came but with no internal dividers :bang:
sending it back for a refund, will save for a muffintop instead

have you got any pics of how you sqeezed it in please.

is the 50d with grip about the same size as the 550?

and was the 70-300 attached as well?

thanks
ian

picked up an 18-70mm for £18 cheaper than I expected so went for a muffin top 4000 in the end. Not a sling but whatever looks really nice :) can't wait to get it

I've got the Muffin Top 4000, don't expect it to be big. D200 and 35mm lens was nearly as much as it could take, so not sure what a D40,18-70 and 35mm would be like. Funky wee bag though, suits my GF1, charger and a flash fine.

well..the D40 is alot smaller than a D200, I'm hoping as per crumplers diagram:

that I can slip my D40 in that way round with the 18-70mm attached then have the two lens slots for the 55-200 and the 35mm

Aye true, it's been a while since I owned a D40 so forgot how small they were.
