At least you can get your mutt to interact and play for the camera, as soon as I get a camera or tripod out, the moggy does a runner here......
 
She is getting a bit blasé about it now I have to say... usually she's a very obedient dog but if I have a camera she totally ignores me, and knows she'll get away with it.

She only has a tinsy bit of shepherd in her (NI actually) but maybe it's the posing bit that she got!
