What a lovely daughter you have

Try positioning her near window light to give a directional light to the photos. That'll create nice contrast in images. Try acting silly as well to get her to laugh. Then you'll have killer images to cherish

She was actually infront of a window with alot of like on her so I'm not 100% sure why they are so dark.
