So i have a few clips of video recorded at 60fps and some clips recorded at 30fps. Im using Windows Movie Maker as im a cheapskate and dont want to pay for video editing software (as i dont do that much of it)

Can anybody tell me how I can change the video (rec. in 60fps) to start playing at normal speed 60fps, then change to slow-mo at 30fps, and then back to normal at 60. Add to that a 2nd clip (rec. at 30fps) following on playing normal speed at 30fps

I hope that makes sense.

I have never used MM, but a good ol' search told me to right click the clip you have laid down and choose the "slow down double" option to create a slow motion effect. Not sure how well it works.
 
Thanks for looking for me Toby, unfortunately that method doesnt work, as that is not an option when you right click. Im using Windows 7 Ultimate and the movie maker that was included.

:( i've tried the help function but that cant find anything about fps, and google hasnt been much help

Anybody got any other suggestions??

The menus i have are as follows:
animations - which gives me the effect at the start of the clip, ie fade in, pixelate in etc
visual effects - which can change the video to sepia, black and white, mirror etc
view - which just changes how big the clip is in my screen
edit - which i can change the clip volume, set the start and end points and trim the clip down

If i right click the clip, i can cut/copy, select all, set start/end point and remove

Im starting to think its not possible in WMM
 
Hi

It was possible on windows movie maker back in the days of Vista but i think it is now called windows Live movie maker which I'm guessing is the one that comes with win 7(I could be wrong i don't have win 7). I don't think it is possible because it is very basic compared to the old version...
